Affordable Connectivity Program

The Affordable Connectivity Program provides any eligible person with a free phone and free service benefits through FCC's Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and the Lifeline program. Please follow the steps below to learn how to check your availability and apply for the ACP. For more information about the Affordable Connectivity Program, click here. 

Use the following steps to enroll:

Step 1: Check your eligibility. Click here to see if you qualify for the ACP.

Step 2: Apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). Once you have confirmed your eligibility, click here to apply for the ACP.

Step 3: Find a Metro store near you. After you have successfully submitted your ACP application, click here to find a Metro location near you. You will need to visit a Metro location to complete the Metro ACP application. If you are not able to visit a Metro store, please click here.

Step 4: Sign up for service with Metro. To receive your free smartphone and a $30 service credit, sign up for service with Metro.

Congratulations! After completing these steps, you will have successfully submitted your ACP application, signed up for service with Metro, and will soon be receiving your free smartphone!
