- Coronaviruses are circulating in animals and some of these coronaviruses have the capability of transmitting between animals and humans.
- Virus is transmitted by air droplets when an infected person coughs or sneezes or through something which is contaminated.
- Symptoms include fever, cough, and shortness of breath or in more severe cases pneumonia or kidney failure.
- It can be diagnosed by a test called PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction).
