Current CDC guidelines for how long you should quarantine for are made on a case to case basis by doctors, infection prevention and control experts, and public health officials. Generally, patients may have to do:

  • 14 day Home or Institutional quarantine depending upon the government guidelines.
  • No longer have a fever without the use of fever-reducing medications
  • No longer show symptoms including cough.
